On the Jill and Jessa: Counting On episode ‘The Bachelor Party’, while Jeremy Vuolo’s bachelor party and Jinger Duggar’s bachelorette event brings everyone together, Jessa’s husband Derick Dillard returns to his alma mater, Oklahoma State University, where he reprises his role as the school’s mascot, Pistol Pete. The first time Jessa saw Derick in the costume was in 2015 (when she was pregnant). She approved.

Derick’s late father Rick was Pistol Pete too when he was in college, so Derick says he likes to think that his father is proud to see him as Pistol Pete now. Derick’s mom Cathy is an alum of OSU too. Jill and Jessa: Counting airs Mondays at 9pm on TLC.
