In the Mom episode ‘Good Karma and the Big Weird,’ Marjorie (Mimi Kennedy) introduces her charming and handsome nephew Nick to her friends but warns them that he’s off limits. That doesn’t stop Bonnie (Allison Janney) from encouraging her daughter Christy (Anna Faris) from pursuing him. Christy succeeds in wooing Nick who gives her “the ride of her life” (on a horse and later in the stable).
Nick is portrayed by Chris Pratt, real-life husband of Anna Faris (Christy). He’s known for his roles on Parks and Recreation (Andy Dwyer), The O.C. (Ché), and Everwood (Bright Abbott). Since then Pratt has become a big movie star known for his roles in Jurassic World (Owen), The Magnificent Seven (Josh Faraday), and in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies (Peter Quill/Star-Lord), among others. Mom airs Thursdays at 9pm on CBS.
