One of the few female analysts reporting on FOX College Football is Shannon Spake. The 40-year-old launched her on-camera career at Speed Channel where she co-hosted NASCAR Nation in 2005. She became a NASCAR pit reporter when Nationwide and Sprint Cup races aired on ESPN, and did so until ESPN lost the broadcast rights to NBC Sports in 2015. FOX Sports hired Spake in July 2016 to cover a number of sports including college football and basketball, NASCAR events, and select NFL broadcasts.
The Florida Atlantic University graduate married her husband Jerry McSorley in an Irish castle in April 2008. See video below. They have twin boys, Brady and Liam, who are turning seven in 2017. FOX College Football Pregame airs Fridays at 8pm on FOX.
