It’s been a tough road for the R&B group TLC. While the girl group is the most successful all-female group (The Supremes are #2), during their peak, the singers struggled with the law, each other, and record labels and management. And then there was the tragic death of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes in 2002. After a hiatus, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins have returned to the studio to produce another record after their 2015 The Main Event Tour with New Kids on the Block and Nelly.

TLC will perform on the televised event Taraji’s White Hot Holidays (December 8, 8pm, FOX). In October, TLC released two new songs from their forthcoming album – “Joyride” and “Haters.” “Haters” could be sung by any pop singer like Taylor Swift or Katy Perry but “Joyride” (written by Rose Gold) has the old school TLC groove.
