Seems like everyone has an iPhone — at least from the look of Apple’s stock price. But here’s a legit question: why doesn’t everyone have an iRobot Roomba 650 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner? Because isn’t this the science fiction future everyone imagined? For just $300? Sure jetpacks haven’t arrived — and that’s a huge disappointment — but how Jetsons is it that you can let loose an iRobot Roomba that cleans the room for you? (The one below, the iRobot Roomba 614, is even cheaper at $250.)
Seriously, why don’t you have this? This Roomba has more than 3,700 customer reviews on Amazon, 71% of them are 5 stars — 87% are 4 stars or higher. Here’s the instructions: “just press CLEAN on the robot.” Now those are instructions you can follow. The iRobot Roomba adjusts to tackle all floor types, too — “carpet, tile, hardwood, laminate and more.” It cleans under the bed! Do you? It cleans quietly while you sleep. Customers happily report things like “captured a full bin of hair from the dogs.” And these are all reviews from the $299 Roomba. The company offers more expensive models too — in case you run a kennel or something. Does this Amazon customer review sound good to you?
