On Season 3 of K. Michelle: My Life, K. Michelle returns to her hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. There she reconnects with childhood friends including Viara Boyd. When K. Michelle wants to relive old times by jumping over an old boyfriend’s fence, Viara is there with a rope. When asked what she’s going to do with rope, Viara says: “in case there’s another bitch in there, we can tie her up and interrogate her.” As K. Michelle’s best friend Jonathan says, “Viara is hysterical but she’s so over the top.”
In real life, Viara Boyd is a businesswoman. She is the owner of Silver Feet Dance Academy in Memphis’ Southland Mall, and she’s the founder of Memphis Black Business Expo (MBX). This isn’t Viara’s first time on TV either. In October, she appeared on Shark Tank with her two daughters Mallory and Madison who pitched their line of tween body lotions and sprays, Angels and Tomboys. They made a deal with Mark Cuban and Daymond John for $60,000 for 33% equity. K. Michelle: My Life airs Mondays at 10pm on VH1.
