On Shark Tank (Season 4), investor Kevin O’Leary invested $75,000 in the Boston company Wicked Good Cupcakes in exchange for 50 cents per cupcake sold in perpetuity. Since Shark Tank, Wicked Good Cupcakes’ sales went from $350k a year to $8 million. Known for their cupcakes in jars, Wicked Good Cupcakes continues to launch new flavors and products including the Cinnabon Cupcake Jar and Alcohol-Infused Cake Jars.
There are currently three alcohol-infused flavors to choose from: Chocolate Chambord Cake; Amaretto Chocolate Hazelnut Cake; and Maple Bacon Whiskey Cake. A two-pack of the squat mason jars (8oz each) sells for $19.95 with a $5 flat rate for ground shipping. If you purchase a four-pack for $39.95, shipping is free.
