In the Pitch episode ‘Wear It,’ Ginny (Kylie Bunbury) signs a major deal with Nike and the advertising agency is throwing a party for her. Ginny gets all glammed up and wears a stunning red gown to the red carpet event. Her agent (Ali Larter) reminds her that she’s about to earn “tens of millions of dollars” which adds to Ginny’s pressure. After a rebellious night out, Ginny finds herself in a mandatory meeting with therapist, Dr. Andrea Barton.
The therapist is portrayed by Rita Wilson. She’s known for her roles on Girls (Marnie’s mom Evie Michaels), The Good Wife (Viola Walsh), and in the films It’s Complicated (Trisha), Runaway Bride (Ellie), Jingle All the Way (Liz), Sleepless in Seattle (Suzy, sister of her real-life husband Tom Hanks’ character), and My Big Fat Greek Wedding films (Ariana), among others. Pitch airs Thursdays at 9pm on FOX.
