Steph Curry‘s NBA record consecutive games making a 3-pointer streak came to an end this week, as Curry failed to knock one down from long range against the Lakers. (Somedays — well, one day anyway — you just go 0-for-10, as Curry finally did.) It was the first time Curry hadn’t hit a three since Nov. 11, 2014.
That made for 196 straight games with a three for Curry — including the playoffs. When Curry took over the NBA’s consecutive games 3-point streak in February 2016, he surpassed Atlanta’s Kyle Korver who once made 3-pointers in 127 straight games. The current leader, with Curry starting from scratch, is the Clippers J.J. Redick who has made at least one 3-pointer in 62 consecutive games. Redick would need another season and a half to approach Curry’s mark from here.
