In the Black Ink Crew: Chicago episode ‘Cobra Gets Rattled,’ while Ryan makes a decision about Cobra’s future at 9 Mag, Don asks to meet with the guys — Ryan, Van and Phor in private. Don tells them that he’s facing jail time. “My past has always found a way to shoot me in the heel.” He explains that he got his license suspended in Missouri and then “I got caught with driving while revoked. And now they want me to serve a little bit of days.” Thirty to be exact. The judge has decided not to give him a slap on the wrist. Don says, “She [the judge] wants to give me some time.”
Van, who just spent four months in boot camp says, ‘The first day is the roughest.” But Don is going to a county jail “which is a hundred times worse” according to Van. Ryan tries to be optimistic. He tells Don: “Just hold you head high going in there. We’ll be here.” Black Ink Crew: Chicago airs Mondays at 9pm on VH1.
