In the Modern Family episode ‘Halloween 4: The Revenge of Rod Skyhook’, while Luke (Nolan Gould) hosts a Halloween party that quickly turns into a nightmare, and Manny goes to a party hosted by his stepfather’s old adversary, Cam (Eric Stonestreet) confronts his holiday nemesis while trick-or-treating. While dressed as Batman (Mitchell is Robin), Cam approaches the seemingly innocent man who turns out to be the father of a little boy dressed as Darth Vader.
Vader’s dad is portrayed by Sam Daly. He’s known for his roles on The Astronaut Wives Club (Henry), L.A. Beer (David), Madam Secretary (Win Barrington), Hot in Cleveland, and The Office (Matt), among others. Fun fact: Daly is the son of actor Tim Daly (Henry McCord on Madam Secretary). Modern Family airs Wednesdays at 9pm on ABC.
