In the Bull episode ‘Just Tell the Truth’, while Marissa (Geneva Carr), Cable (Annabelle Attanasio) and Danny (Jaime Lee Kirchner) want to investigate the man Chunk (Chris Jackson) wants to date before they go out, Bull (Michael Weatherly) is in court again. A socialite named Lauren Everton was murdered and the prime suspect is her working-class, cook fiancé. When Lauren’s parents try to hire Bull to prosecute, he decides to defend the fiancé instead.
Lauren’s father Gavin Everton is portrayed by Parker Stevenson. He’s known for his roles on Baywatch (Craig Pomeroy), Melrose Place (Steve McMillan), the TV mini-series North and South with his then-wife Kirstie Alley and Patrick Swayze, and The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries with Shaun Cassidy (Frank Hardy), among others. Fun fact: Stevenson and Weatherly are both graduates from the prestigious prep school Brooks in Andover, Massachusetts. Bull airs Tuesdays at 9pm on CBS.
