Husband and wife team Doug and Renata Storer of Orlando, Florida are the entrepreneurs behind Night Runner 270. The product is a set of small, light (1.5 oz. each), water-resistant, rechargeable LED lights (4-hour battery life) that clip onto running sneakers, hiking boots, or just every day shoes. The Night Runners cast light up to 30 feet and 270 degrees of visibility, hence the name. So far the Storers have sold more than 8,000 units after launching the Night Runner 270 at the New York City Marathon in 2015. When they appear on Shark Tank, a bidding war ensues.
