Seth Curry will get his shot — and shots — for head coach Rick Carlisle this season. The sharp-shooting guard with a famous brother played 22 minutes against the Charlotte Hornets in a 95-88 preseason Mavs win. Curry scored 20 points, going 5-of-6 from 3-point territory, making Mavs fans salivate at their junior clone of that back-to-back MVP winner at Golden State.
Curry, a 6’2″ guard with the genes and the range, hasn’t caught fire yet in the NBA, though the Duke product has produced some big games in D-League competition. If he continues to shoot 88% from the arc, he will create his own minutes in the Mavericks rotation.
