NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said again he wants to have the NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte, NC, in 2019. The NBA opted to move the game out of North Carolina for 2017 in reaction to the state’s passing House Bill 2, a law widely seen as discriminating against LGBT citizens. Silver says returning the game to North Carolina is a “high priority given the investments in the arena, given the investments in the team that Michael and his ownership group has made, and the city and state have made in the Hornets.”

That Michael is Michael Jordan, of course — Charlotte Hornets owner, North Carolina native and GOAT. To get the game back the formula is simple. It was taken away because of House Bill 2 — that’s the only reason. Rescind House Bill 2 and North Carolina gets the All-Star Game. Your move, NC. Or as they say, the LGBT ball is in your court.
