Doug Foreman of Austin, Texas is the inventor of Biem (pronounced BEAM), a kitchen cooking device that turns a stick of butter into a spray in seconds. Biem uses a rechargable battery and can be stored in the refrigerator. And it’s good looking, “something you’d be proud to have in your kitchen or dining room,” says Foreman says. The food industry veteran is pitching Biem on Shark Tank on October 14. He sold his company Guiltless Gourmet Inc. in 1991, and he’s the current chairman of Beanitos. Foreman raised $235,000 via a Kickstarter campaign to bring Biem to life. (P.S. Biem is just one product of his latest company Brevda, Inc.)
Biem is available for purchase ($129) on the website and will begin shipping on November 30. Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
