At the end of the premiere episode of This Is Us, we discover that 36-year-old adults Kate (Chrissy Metz), actor Kevin (Justine Hartley) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) are siblings. In the second episode, ‘The Big Three’, Kate (Chrissy Metz) continues to struggle to lose weight while Randall struggles with having his biological father back in his life. And Kevin feels the repercussions from quitting the TV show The Manny. He didn’t quit quietly and now his agent/manager Lanie warns him about the network possibly bankrupting him.
Kevin’s agent Lanie is portrayed by Katey Sagal. The singer/actress is known for her roles on Sons of Anarchy (Gemma Teller Morrow), The Bastard Executioner (Annora of the Alders), Lost (Helen Norwood), 8 Simple Rules (Cate Hennessy), and Married with Children (Peggy Bundy), among others. This Is Us airs Tuesdays at 10pm on NBC.
