Hells Bells Helmets is a company in Philadelphia that has a patent on making 3D designs on helmets. Their specialty is sculpted motorcycle helmets. Designer Marix Stone and a woman named Dr. Nancy Tanchel pitched the business on Shark Tank in 2010. On the show, they made a deal with investor and motorcycle enthusiast Daymond John for $500k for 50 percent. But the deal didn’t go through.
Hells Bells continues to make custom 3D helmets…tanks and fenders, too. The Hells Bells website also sells Badass Dot Helmets which range from $100 to $300. One of Hells Bells’ logos is: “Helmet Laws Suck. Let Those Who Ride…Decide.”
