On the Dance Moms episode ‘Mommy Meltdown,’ while the minis perform their first lyrical routine, dance instructor Abby Lee Miller teaches the elites a group routine. The elite routine involves walkers as props which many of the moms say is offensive. Abby says, “They’re having fun,” but Nia’s mother Holly Frazier says the routine is “stupid” and “offensive.”
Holly announces to all the Dance Moms: “We’ve all decided that the kids aren’t going to do this number.” Abby Lee Millers says of the mothers’ ultimatum, “They should be afraid of the consequences.” Dance Moms airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Lifetime.
