American track and field star Tianna Bartoletta is competing at the 2016 Olympics in Rio. She and fellow American Brittney Reese will compete for the gold medal in the long jump. Reese won the gold medal in the long jump at the 2012 Olympics in London; Bartoletta (then known as Tianna Madison) won the gold medal in the 4×100 relay. After the 2012 Olympics, Madison changed her name to Bartoletta when she married investment manager John Bartoletta. He is 20 years her senior.
John Bartoletta is the founder and managing member of The Highstreet Group, an investment management company based in Tampa, Florida. He is also the founder and managing manager of UNATION, a branding company that specializes in social media. Tianna Bartoletta’s attempt to win the gold medal in the long jump will be televised during the 2016 Summer Olympics Primetime coverage beginning Wednesday, August 17 at 8pm on NBC.
