Women’s swimming is the highlight of the Summer Olympics Primetime coverage on Sunday, August 7. The live finals will shine a light on US swimmers Katie Ledecky (the 19-year-old Stanford student) and Dana Vollmer, the 28-year-old who had a baby 16 months ago. While Ledecky is a favorite to win the 400m free, Vollmer (a four-time Olympic Gold Medalist) is a favorite in the 100m fly.
Right before heading to Rio, Vollmer announced that she’s partnering with Pampers (see video below). She says her son Arlen wears the diapers which help him sleep through the night which means she’s well-rested too — and sleep is critical in training for the Olympics. Coverage of 2016 Summer Olympics Primetime begins at 7pm on NBC.
