In the TV movie Killer Coach, when superstar swimmer Samantha Morgan butts heads with her coach, Samantha’s mother Gina (Keesha Sharp) brings in a new assistant coach, Bryce (Tom Maden). Almost instantly, sparks fly between Samantha and Bryce. They have what Samantha considers a one-night stand — but Bryce wants much more.

Samantha is portrayed by Javicia Leslie. She was born in Germany and then moved to the Washington, DC area when she was a child. At Hampton University, during her junior year, she won the pageant title of Miss Hampton University. Leslie is known for her role as Mo in the web series Chef Julian.
