In Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens, Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) and his father Gil (David Hasselhoff) once again find themselves fighting off killer, flying sharks. This time they’re in Las Vegas and according to Ziering, “it gets nuclear.” During the fourth installment, fans get to meet Fin’s mother, Raye Shepard, who is portrayed by Cheryl Tiegs.

Tiegs is one of (if not the) original supermodels. The Minnesota native was the first model to appear twice on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. But it was her 1978 poster where she’s wearing a pink string bikini that made her an icon. In the 1980s she launched a line of clothing for Sears which had close to $1 billion in sales in 1989. She also made the cover of TIME twice. In 2012, Tiegs was a contestant on Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice. Like her co-star Ziering, she didn’t win. (Arsenio Hall won in 2012. Geraldo Rivera won in 2015). Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens premieres July 31 at 8pm on Syfy.
