In the Hotel Hell episode “Beachfront Inn & The Inlet Grill,” Gordon Ramsay travels to Fort Pierce, Florida to check The Inlet Grill and Beachfront Inn. The owner Brian Paul is young and owes his brother a lot of money – a tough combination to overcome. But there is a little comedy relief during the show. When Gordon notices a kiosk on the premises that’s designed to sell volleyballs, t-shirts and beach towels, Gordon asks if they sell much. Brian says no. Gordon doesn’t look surprised. When Gordon asks to see a beach towel, Brian hightails it to an office/supply space. While looking around, he says to himself: “We’re on the beach, we don’t have towels, what’s wrong with this picture?”
Brian regains his composure, walks slowly into the restaurant where Ramsay is waiting and delivers a beach towel. “How many of these do you have in stock?” asks Ramsay. “One,” says Brian with a laugh and a smile, “You got it,” he adds as if Ramsay just won a prize. Ramsay can’t help but to laugh a little too. Hotel Hell airs Mondays at 8pm on FOX.
