Aly Lessor of Los Angeles, CA pitched Cozy Bug, her line of adorable dresses made of pillow cases and ribbons for little girls, on Shark Tank in 2012. Her pitch prompted a Shark fight between investors Lori Greiner and Daymond John. While Lori wrote out a check to Aly for $50k for 30 percent and promised to make Lessor a millionaire, Lessor decided to go with John (for the same deal).

It’s unusual for such a successful retail company to let its promotional power on social media fade. It’s been nearly two months since Cozy Bug posted something on Facebook (in May, a Memorial Day sale). The post prior to that was in January. The last time Cozy Bug posted something on Twitter was in October 2013. And it’s been two years since they posted a photo on Instagram. To add more mystery to the Cozy Bug story, there is now a CoZibug brand of swaddling blankets and baby clothes out of Seattle.
Update: Social media may be overrated — Aly Lessor writes that Cozy Bug “just got into Walmart last week! It is our first Big Box store. Also, we just got accepted to Overstock.com.”
