Milwaukee couple Archie and Marian Cabello stole $158,000 in 1995 while Archie drove an armored truck. Archie was fired after the theft but he wasn’t charged. When Archie and Marian’s son Vincent Cabello got a job guarding a vault, Archie pretended to rob his son. Archie handcuffed his son while he ran out with $730,000. When the family moved to Portland, Oregon, Archie landed another security job, and with his son, he stole $3 million. They kept the stolen money in a safe deposit box under Archie’s alias “Mike Alda.” They used more than 100 credit cards to pay living expenses and then used the stolen cash to pay the credit card bills. They spent about $1 million of the total $4 million stolen.
After 10 years of pulling heists, Marian Cabello and Vincent Cabello, separately, cooperated with the police.
