In the Bones episode “The Head of the Abutmen,” Booth (David Boreanaz) investigates the death of a professional hockey player whose headless corpse was found in a river. Booth’s love of hockey comes in handy as do his connections. Turns out the dead guy’s coach is Booth’s old rival on the ice, Jeremy “JR” Roenick (the former NHL player plays himself). On the case, Booth also has some questions for hockey executive Katie Stober.
Katie Stober is portrayed by Brooke Lyons. She’s known for her roles on The Mindy Project (Theresa), Grandfathered (Juliet), The Affair (Eden Ellery), The Exes (Sophie), Jane by Design (Birdie), and 2 Broke Girls (Peach), among many others. Not only is Lyons a talented actress but the Yale graduate (who studied English Literature) is also a classically trained ballet dancer. Bones airs Thursdays at 8pm on FOX.
