The classic TV game show To Tell the Truth is back with black-ish star Anthony Anderson as the host. One episode will feature standup comedian Iliza Shlesinger, who will join the panel that tries to guess which guest is telling the truth about their profession. Shlesinger and fellow panelists will try to identify the drag queen/Tupperware sales person, a shark attack survivor, and a stunt person who jumps off burning buildings.
Shlesinger is the winner of NBC’s Last Comic Standing (Season 6) and has held a number of TV hosting gigs herself. She was the host of Excused (2011-2013) and more recently Separation Anxiety on TBS. You can watch Shlesinger’s standup on the Netflix special, Freezing Hot. To Tell the Truth airs Tuesdays at 9pm and 10pm on ABC.
