In the TV movie Stop the Wedding, when suave TV star Sean Castleberry (Alan Thicke) announces that he’s getting married again, his son Clay is not happy. “It’s a recipe for disaster,” he tells his future stepmother’s niece Anna, who agrees. Clay and Anna (Rachel Boston) team up to “Stop the Wedding,” and along the way the attractive young couple falls in love.
Clay is portrayed by Niall Matter. The Canadian actor is known for his roles on Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce (Joaquin), Remedy (Peter Cutler), Rizzoli & Isles (Detective Mike Guthrie), Arctic Air (Tag Cummins), Primeval: New World (Evan Cross), Eureka (Zane Donovan), 90210 (Greg), and Melrose Place (Rick Paxton), among others. Matter is also recognized for his role as Mothman in the film Watchmen. Stop the Wedding premieres on June 11 at 9pm on Hallmark. It will air again on June 12 at 3pm, June 18 at 7pm, June 19 at 11am, and June 25 at 5pm.
