During an exclusive 60 Minutes Sports interview, retired NFL Super Bowl champion Marshawn Lynch says he’s definitely done playing. “I enjoyed my time playing now it’s time to watch my cousins do their thing.” The cousins Lynch could be referring to include:
- Quarterback Josh Johnson, who signed with the Baltimore Ravens on May 16, 2016. (He played college football at San Diego, was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft.)
- Wide receiver Robert Jordan, who played alongside Lynch at Cal from 2004–2006, played for the San Francisco 49ers before joining the Canadian Football League in 2010 playing for the British Columbia Lions. In 2011, he signed with the Florida Tarpons.
- Former Oakland Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell who in April 2016, reportedly sent letters to all 32 NFL teams asking for a tryout and pledging to play one year for free.
Or maybe Lynch is referring to watching his cousin rapper Mistah F.A.B. do his thing which includes his latest release, Son of a Pimp 2. 60 Minutes Sports will airs its interview with Marshawn Lynch on June 7 at 9pm on Showtime.
