In the Shahs of Sunset episode “Trouble in Paradise,” the group is still vacation in Belize. In one scene, the group goes tubing through historic caves. While wearing lights on their heads, their tubes are led into the dark cave of Xibalba. Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi becomes annoyed when the guys — her brother Shervin and Mike Shouhed start playing around in the water. “Stop it!” she yells in her best maternity voice. And then do.
Mike reflects after the tubing trip: “For the first time on this trip, I had the chance to kind of unwind, with no one interrogating me about my relationship or what’s going on in my life.” Mike and his wife Jessica have been in therapy trying to save their marriage. Mike added about the tubing adventure: “It really gave me the chance to forget everything I’m going through. It far exceeds therapy.” Shahs of Sunset airs Sundays at 8pm on Bravo.
