Sarah Hyland of Modern Family stars in the summer horror flick Satanic. Written by Anthony Jaswinski, the same guy behind Blake Lively’s The Shallows about a great white shark who hunts her down, Satanic is about four twentysomethings on their way to Coachella. In Los Angeles, they meet a young woman who’s part of a Satanic cult. When they humor her and hold her hand as she chants, the four friends don’t realize that by doing so they made a deal with the devil.
Hyland has posted a number of photos from the set of Satanic on Instagram including one of Hyland standing side-by-side with her co-stars Devanny Pinn, Justin Chon, and Steven Krueger. Hyland is the one standing on pancake apple boxes (see below). She wrote the caption: “This has always been and will always be my life. Pancake Apple boxes for Sarah!! 5’2 and proud of it.” Satanic will be released July 1, one day after The Shallows.
