On the Bones episode “The Strike in the Chord,” the team discovers that the dead body found in a university rat lab is head of the male a cappella group on campus. While they question all of the singers – featuring members of the real life band Pentatonix and Jordan Fisher (Teen Beach 2) – Brennan (Emily Deschanel) works with a new Jeffersonian intern, Sammy Mills.
Sammy Mills is portrayed by Barbara-Kimberly “BK” Cannon. The recent college graduate of Mount St. Mary’s University (May 2016) is known for her roles on Switched at Birth (Mary Beth Tucker) and Sin City Saints (Melissa Stanton). Cannon is also recognized for her roles in the indie short film Page’s Great and Grand Escape (Page) and the 2014 film Mall (Sales Girl) with Vincent D’Onofrio and Gina Gershon. Bones airs Thursdays at 8pm on FOX.
