Three entrepreneurs from San Diego, California have invented The Spooner, a wheel-less skateboard that lets the user maneuver as if on a skateboard, surfboard or snowboard — on any surface, anytime. It’s a fun product for all ages and it can be used as an exercise product — perfect for “Mom’s twisting core workout.” There are three Spooner levels/products to choose from:
- The Freestyle for beginners, for kids under 4ft tall ($45)
- The Pro Series for kids over 4ft tall ($55)
- The Yardboard for thrill seekers ($99)
Spooner Boards are sold on the company website and on Amazon. The founders of Spooner Boards will pitch the business on Shark Tank, where investors and viewers will be reminded of the recent Shark Tank mega hit, Simply Fit Board. Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
