OKC Thunder guard Russell Westbrook is sometimes in the MVP conversation for his versatility. He’s a triple-double machine who carried the Thunder with gaudy number last year when superstar teammate Kevin Durant went out with an injury. Westbrook is also considered overrated by some, including Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, who made waves this postseason by saying the Thunder had just one superstar — Durant.
The Thunder lost their Game 3 of the second round matchup with the Spurs 100-96, a game played in OKC. Superstar Kevin Durant took 18 shots, making 10 of them for 26 points. Russell Westbrook made 10-of-31 shots for 31 points on 32% shooting. The Spurs lead the series 2-1.
