On the Season 6 reunion of Dance Moms, everyone’s talking about star dancer Maddie Ziegler leaving the ALDC team and show. The 13-year-old has outgrown the studio and has become a star on her own. When not filming a music video with Sia, Maddie is on the set of another dance reality TV show, So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation, which premieres May 30 on FOX.
At the Dance Moms reunion, Maddie’s dance instructor Abby Lee Miller accuses Maddie’s mother Melissa Gisoni of not handling Maddie’s departure properly. “I should’ve been the first one to know,” Abby barks. (Melissa’s reaction can be seen in the photo above.) The past six years of frustration take over Melissa at the reunion. At one point, Melissa flips the bird to Abby. A few days before the reunion aired, Gisoni took to Twitter to let all of her Dance Moms fans know that she “loves them all.” She also apologized for “getting quiet” as she wanted to read “every single reply” left on her Twitter account wishing her and her family well. The Dance Moms reunion will air Tuesday, May 10 at 9pm on Lifetime.
