Pop star Prince gave a concert in Atlanta on Thursday night where everything went well. But on Friday reports had the insanely talented purple-loving musician rushed to a hospital in Illinois, after his jet made an unscheduled emergency landing at the Quad City airport in Rock Island County. The illness that triggered the unplanned hospital visit was not disclosed. But Prince reportedly had the flu earlier this month when he canceled two shows in Atlanta.
A representative for Prince later told TMZ that the rocker was out of the hospital and back home. He reportedly stayed about 3 hours, likely to combat dehydration — a symptom of the flu often exasperated by air travel, not to mention a draining physical effort like performing a big concert for thousands of fans.
