Oliver Greenwald and Sam Nassif are two freshmen students at Kent Denver High School. Together they’ve invented The Drip Drop. It’s an edible ring of waffle cone that goes around an ice cream cone. It catches the drips of melting ice cream. And there’s no waste! The bow-tie wearing young men will pitch their patented product on Shark Tank with the hope of landing a deal with a Shark who can help them license The Drip Drop to big ice cream companies.

It may be a good thing they’re after a licensing deal for another reason, too. Drip Drop is a great name for a product that collects dropped drips of ice cream, but the name is already taken by an oral rehydration solution manufacturer in San Francisco. Fun fact: The ORS Drip Drop is backed by a number of thirsty rockers including Sammy Hagar, Bob Weir and Joe Satriani. So if the sharks don’t bite, maybe Oliver and Sam can approach the rockers. Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
