On the TV movie Dater’s Handbook, a young, attractive woman named Cassandra “Cass” Barber (Meghan Markle) is in a love rut. She keeps picking the wrong guy. To break the cycle, she turns to Dr. Susie’s self-help book, “The Dater’s Handbook,” to help her find the right one. The problem is that while reading the book, Cass finds two great guys. There’s fun-loving Robert (Kristoffer Polaha) and then there’s George – a sweet, reliable man who Cass thinks she should be with.

George is portrayed by Jonathan Scarfe. The Canadian-born actor is best known for his roles on Detective McLean: Ties That Bind (Matt McLean), Hell on Wheels (Sydney Snow), Perception (Roger Probert), Raising the Bar (Charlie Sagansky), and ER (Carter’s cousin Chase). Dater’s Handbook premieres on February 4 at 8pm on Hallmark Channel. It will air again on February 6 at 5pm, February 27 at 7pm, and March 26 at 7pm.
