Who Is Lady Ambrosia on ‘The Blacklist’?

In The Blacklist episode “Lady Ambrosia,” after a missing child who was presumed dead shows up, Red (James Spader) and Liz (Megan Boone) try to find a woman who’s been abducting “unwanted” children. She tells the children they will live forever, together in the woods. She goes by the name of Lady Ambrosia.

Lady Ambrosia is portrayed by Celia Weston. She’s best known for her roles on American Horror Story (Lillian Hemmings), Modern Family (Barb Tucker), and in a variety of well-received dramatic films including Junebug (Peg), In the Bedroom (Katie Grinnel), Joe Gould’s Secret (Sarah), The Talented Mr. Ripley (Aunt Joan), Snow Falling on Cedars (Etta Heine), Far From Heaven (Mona Lauder), and Dead Man Walking (Mary Beth Percy). The Blacklist airs Thursdays at 9pm on NBC.
