In the NCIS: Los Angeles episode “Matryoshka, Part 2,” partners Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) are in Russia trying to get Anna’s (Bar Paly) father Arkady (Vyto Ruginis) and his CIA friend out of prison. Meanwhile, Special Agent G. Callen finally learns what the “G” in his name stands for. When Callen meets Garrison, Garrison shakes his hand and says, “I know who you are.”
Garrison is portrayed by Daniel J. Travanti. The veteran actor is best known for his roles on Hill Street Blues (Capt. Frank Furillo), Prison Break (President Richard Mills), and Kelsey Grammar’s Boss (Gerald ‘Babe’ McGantry). NCIS: Los Angeles airs Mondays at 10pm on CBS.
