The late great David Bowie once memorably thanked super-producer Nile Rodgers for his help in crafting the massive Bowie hit “Let’s Dance.” Bowie said the great Rodgers was “the only man who could make me start a song with a chorus.”
That’s essentially what the music app Trbble does, introducing you to music by culling the “best part of the songs” and delivering those first. Then you can listen to the rest, if you like it. It’s an impatient app for an impatient world. Worried about someone deciding what the best part of the song is for you? (When it’s almost always the cowbell in your opinion?) Legit concern, but in general songs already have what musicians consider their best parts — they’re called hooks. Trbble is another name for hook. Try it out here.
