On a Special Edition of 20/20, Robin Roberts looks at the careers of 2016 Oscar nominees including Sylvester Stallone (Creed), Brie Larson (Room), Bryan Cranston (Trumbo), and Mark Ruffalo (Spotlight). On camera, Ruffalo tells a story about taking his daughter to school one day and being approached by one of her classmates. The little boy asks Ruffalo if he’s “The Incredible Hulk.” Ruffalo says nah, “I just play him in the movies.” When the boy silently stares at Ruffalo, the actor makes himself big and pretends to be The Hulk. The little boy yells “no, no, no” and runs under a desk.
“That became a running joke until his parents asked me to stop,” Ruffalo says on the Special Edition of 20/20 which airs the Friday before the Oscars, February 26 at 10pm on ABC.
