On the Scorpion episode “Sun of a Gun,” the team gets enlisted by Sylvester Dodd’s (Ari Stidham) estranged father, a retired general. General Kenneth Dodd needs help stopping an African dictator from using a deadly weapon of mass destruction that he discovered from World War II.
Sylvester’s dad, Kenneth Dodd, is portrayed by Jeff Fahey. He’s best known for his roles on From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series (Uncle Eddie), Texas Rising (Thomas Rusk), Justified (Zachariah), Under the Dome (Sheriff Howard “Duke” Perkins), Lost (Frank Lapidus), The Marshal (Deputy Marshal Winston MacBride), and One Life to Live (Gary Corelli). Fun fact: Dodd is the sixth of 13 kids, raised in Buffalo, New York. Scorpion airs Mondays at 9pm on CBS.
