On The Mysteries of Laura, NYPD detective Laura Diamond (Debra Messing) investigate the murder of perfume mogul Michael Dunham. There are a number of suspects including Dunham’s son, John (Jerry O’Connell). When lawyer Brenda Phillips walks in and announces that John is not inheriting any of his father’s money, the plot thickens. Phillips also becomes a suspect.
