PhoneSoap is a plastic case that sterilizes phones using UV light. The idea for the product came about after the creators discovered that a cell phone has 18 times more harmful bacteria than the handle in a public restroom. We can wash our hands all we want but what’s the best way to clean a phone? Phone Soap says the UV light emitted through its device destroys nucleic acids and breaks apart germ DNA found on phones. Plus, the device can also charge your phone while it eliminates germs.

The creators of PhoneSoap pitched their product on Shark Tank and got a deal with Lori Greiner. Now the brand has extended its line to including a PhoneSoap Polish ($15) and a “magical” Cleaning Roller ($20, 3 in x 2 in x 1 in) that works like a lint brush but with a specially formulated TPU gel to wipe off smudges for when you’re traveling or don’t have time to use the PhoneSoap cleaner/charger.
