Sundy Carter is known for being the mistress of NBA player Larry Hughes. In 2007, when Hughes was married and playing with the Charlotte Bobcats, Sundy became pregnant and had his daughter, Kennedy Carter. In 2013, as a close friend of Jackie Christie, Carter appeared on Basketball Wives LA (season 4) until she was fired in February 2015.

Carter received a lot of backlash when she threw shade at Brandi Maxiell who was struggling to get pregnant. Maxiell had fertility issues due to her battle with ovarian cancer. Carter says her portrayal on the show wasn’t fair because the things that provoked her were cut from the show. As she told Who’s That Lady Entertainment: “I don’t think anybody in their right mind would just go on national TV for no reason and just start bashing everybody.” Carter is back on national TV and this time with her ex-husband Cedric Carter.
