In the Lifetime TV movie The Flight Before Christmas, Stephanie (Mayim Bialik, The Big Bang Theory) gets dumped by her boyfriend Brian right before Christmas. Depressed, she decides to fly home for the holidays. She takes a red-eye and finds herself seated next to happy, handsome young man named Michael who’s planning to propose to his girlfriend. It gets worse for Stephanie. Due to an unexpected snowstorm, their flight gets diverted to a small town in Montana. Stephanie and Michael are forced to share the last room in town together. Stephanie lightens up when she sees Michael come out of the shower wearing nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist.
Michael is portrayed by Ryan McPartlin. He’s best known for his roles on the TV series Mystery Girls (Detective Duane Freeman), Hart of Dixie (Carter Covington), Daybreak (Eric), CSI: Miami (Josh Avery), Chuck (Devon ‘Captain Awesome’ Woodcomb), and Living with Fran (Riley Martin). Fun fact about the 6’4” McPartlin: He played Big Ten football at the University of Illinois where he got his degree in Speech Communication. The Flight Before Christmas premieres on Lifetime on December 5 at 8pm.
