Before the third-season premiere of When Call the Heart, the Hallmark Channel will broadcast a special two-hour holiday special, “New Year’s Wish.” The whole town of Hope Valley gathers for a fireworks display including school teacher Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow) and Constable Jack Thornton. With the New Year upon them, the young couple makes a fresh start.
Jack is portrayed by Daniel Lissing. The Australian-born actor is best known for his roles on the TV shows Last Resort (James King), Crownies (Conrad De Grott), and Out of the Blue (Angus “Tiger” McKinnon). Americans will recognize him from recent episodes of MTV’s Eye Candy (Ben), and Bravo’s Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce (Payton). When Calls the Heart premieres on Hallmark on December 26 at 8pm. The season will resume again in February 2016.
