Jack Allison, one of America’s most promising high school football players, will be featured on the TV special Under Armour All-America Game Practice Day. The 6’5”, 200-pound quarterback at Palmetto in Palmetto, Florida received six offers from schools including Miami, Alabama, Missouri, Tennessee, UCF, and USF. Before his junior year, in June 2014, Allison committed to the University of Miami. He was recruited by James Coley and Art Kehoe.
[Mark Richt Finally Not Enough For Georgia]
Recruiters usually can’t talk about individual recruits but Allison signed a grant-in-aid so Coley and his new coach Mark Richt (see photo) are free to discuss Allison. Coley recently spoke about Allison’s senior year and how tough the young QB is: “He can stand in there and deliver the ball.” Coley also joked about Allison’s physical growth. “I think he’s grown another half inch. He’s going to have to stop growing or they’re going to move him to basketball.” Under Armour All-America Game Practice will air December 31 at 8pm on ESPNU.
